The Lexus CT200h, introduced in 2011, concluded its production in 2022 and is recognised as the world’s first premium hybrid hatchback.
Beneath its luxurious exterior, it shares the same 1.8-litre petrol 4-Cylinder with CVT and Electric Motor mechanics as the Toyota Prius, albeit recalibrated for a more sophisticated feel.
The range comprises a single model with a front-wheel drive powertrain, available in three primary trim specifications and additional variants for variety.
Lexus performed upgrades on the CT200h, notably in 2014 when the polarising spindle-style front grille was introduced, alongside enhancements in equipment levels, NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness), and suspension comfort.
Another revision occurred in 2017, subtly refreshing the aesthetics and implementing a substantial update to the safety technology.



Lexus’s renowned reputation for reliability and exceptional build quality adds to the appeal of the CT200h as an attractive hybrid option with a premium badge.
